UPDATE!!

Good News!!! The Book, Beautiful Barrie - A City and Its People, will be available in the early spring (for certain) or earlier. The book is at the printers now. It has over 400 pages, easy to read and loaded with great pictures. It is expected that there will NOT be a reprint of this book, so when you get yours, hold on to it - it will be a collector's item.

With no complete history of our city available, the Barrie Historical Assoc. is supporting the production of a historical book of Barrie's history from its founding in 1853 to the present day. Su Murdoch and Brad Rudachyk, two members of our Association, are writing this book, which will include the written history and illustrated with a multitude of photographs and drawings.
